Transferable Skills Meeting

Today I had my transferable skills meeting with my executive producer in relation to my progression throughout this trimester and the production of our short film Cleanliness of Dirt. Along with time management I want to improve my communication to minor roles, although majors have stayed in the loop my less than preferred contact to minor roles may have left some of them out of the loop, so I’m going to attempt to increase my communication to them to two times a week instead of one to unsure they understand what is going on.

Although there was a few things in which I have done well the things I like to focus on is that of what I needed to improve one of which was time management, without the doubt, I am behind in my blogs which I intent to improve upon the coming week(s) and to do this I planned to catch I by the end of the week, which I have failed but I have used this week to create a bench mark on how long it takes to balance my time between pre-production, blogs and freelance work, although work and the film have taken over I plan to work on time management as a whole.

As a crew and team I believe the heads of production are bonding really well as we have held a few meetings now and we are all on the same page and working towards completing out tasks, and the members who couldn’t make it have arranged of ways to insure they are up to date, although our editor has missed a few meetings or left early we insure that we are passing on as much information as we can to insure all it good and goes well when we reach not only principle photography but also post production.
